I am a passionate dog trainer, dedicated to helping dogs thrive through positive, science-led methods. She is currently studying for an Ofqual-regulated Level 4 Diploma in Canine Physical Training (K9PT) with Woozelbears, continuing to expand my knowledge of canine health and wellbeing.
Since 2016, I have offered home-from-home luxury dog boarding services, holding a 5* licence with Stroud DC. My two Cocker Spaniels, Penny (10) and Sadie (14), inspire my patient and compassionate approach to training.
I have had the privilege of working with leading trainers including Nick Benger (Amazon’s The Pack) and Livvy Brewer (HoundPlus), Assistance Dog Trainer Rachel Shepherd (Solidarity Dogs), and I’m currently mentored by Rosie Bescoby (Pet Sense) and Adam Daines (Avon Dog Services and Channel 4’s The Bad Dog Academy). I’ve also gained valuable cross-species experience training at Paignton Zoo alongside Jo Mason (Educating Animals) and Jim Mackie (ZSL).
My favourite area of training is scentwork as I love watching dogs harness their natural gifts. I take a playful and empathetic approach, always considering each dog’s individuality, breed-specific traits, and emotional needs.
Having grown up with spaniels, boarding a variety of dogs, and my voluntary work in rescue with the Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home, I understand that every dog is unique.
When I’m not training, I enjoy reading about behaviour and neuroscience, spending time in nature, scuba diving, and music.
